Vast Hell

Privacy, what does that mean? oh, did you know Mrs. Brown went out yesterday telling her husband that she is shopping and came home 5:30 am in the morning! Isn't that shocking. And do you know Mr. Williams got his wife a $3000 diamond necklace from Kay Jewelers for their 25th anniversary! And what did you get me? allow me to think, hmm; "NOTHING".

Life is very competitive. Everyone wants something better than what someone else in the neighborhood got.One person got this, oh i need to get that because we have to increase or actually match their status.

In the first house, the Mr and Mrs. Williams are fighting and Shawn and Michelle are upstairs studying. In the second house, Mr. Brown went to Georgia for a business trip and Mrs. Brown went to her in-laws house for a visit and her kids are having a house party in the house. In the house across the second house, the Choi family is having dinner and then according to Mrs. Williams, they will be going for a walk on the beach.

Everyday, their life is the same. Work, come home work, have dinner, spent some time with the family and sleep. Once in a while the family will do something interesting. For example, last weekend Mr. Brown's family rented the movie Twilight from Blockbusters at like 12:30 am. Our neighborhood is OUR family. We live together, we share things with each other, we fight with each other, we care for each other, and most of all, we trust each other!

A Child Called "It" By, Dave Pelzer

Oh my god, this book is amazing. I think that this was the first time that i actually looked forward to reading a book. The smallest detail were so well described it was unbelievable. After reading through all the injustice the mother had done on this kid, it led me to think that can a mother be that cruel? Can she dislike her boy upto the point that she told him to sit on a burning stove? Some parts were just so difficult to read. What was more unbelievable was that she changed so much by the end of book. In the first chapter, the author described the good old times in his life, which was his early childhood. In those times, the mother loved him THE MOST. However, gradually, the mother hated the boy so much she attempted to kill him several times. I thought that this book was really, really good. I would highly reccomend this book to all that love to read books that consist of lots of emotions. The book entirely was very well written!

An Angel will come to help us...

One day, Marry asked her mother, "mom why is everything bad happening to us?" her mother replied, "Marry, don't worry, god is just testing us everytime we fae something new. If he gives us a problem he will help us solve it too. He will send an angel to help us out". From that day on, Marry looked for that angel but couldn't find hi. That's because you never realize that that's the angel that god has sent for you.

That Angel one day came into Marry's life as a neighbor and friend of Marry. Unknowingly, Marry becasme best freinds with this man and told him all her problems that she faces. The Angel sat with Marry and talked out all the issues that Marry faced. Then Marry questioned him, why are there so many gods in this world? For a second the man started to think but then he came up with a really true statement. he said, "there is only one god. however, that one god has many different faces and names becasue of the different religions that we have. You name it, say Alah or Jesus, it's the same thing but once again, becasue of the different religions, it's different names" Then she asked, why are there different religions in this world? He answered, "think about it, different religions, but are their values different?" It's true, the values are the same. The kids of all religion are taught to respect elders. All their manners are the same!!

Those were all my thoughts about god.

I am home SICK??

This morning i woke up and turned on the TV. I saw the commercial that said the new shoes are coming out today and they will be sold at Macy's. I had to be the first one to get those shoes. But wait...i have school today. How am I possibly going to be able to go to the mall if i have school today. By the end of the school people probably already have gotten those shoes. No, I have to go and get them. But how? OH SHUT! mom's coming in my room to wake me up...

Good morning Aekangi, says my mom. Good morning mom! Are you ready for school yet? asked my mom. Umm..actually not really. i told her that i think i have a fever. So she went to get me something to put in my mouth to check my temperature. While she was gone, i realized that i had bunch of coins in my first drawer so i rushed and got a penny and before she entered my room, i put it in my mouth. When she checked my temperature it was pretty high and so she told me to stay home in bed while she went to work and finished all her school work. Before she left, she made me a big cup of hot chocolate and gave me medication. And she left.

YES! mom fell for that trick. As soon as she left the room, I immediately went and took a shower really fast and changed into a nice pair of clothes. Then i went downstairs and checked which car i could drive to the mall with. I realized that my Mercedes S500 was in the driveway along with my dad's ugly van. So i sat in the car and left to go to the mall. By car the mall is usually 5-7 minutes away depending on traffic. For 10 minutes i was looking for a car. And then i thought to myself, who could possibly be going to the mall on a Wednesday and that too at 1:00 pm when everybody usually works at this time!

Somehow I managed to find a parking place and i rushed into the store. When i checked out all the shoes, i saw that those shoes weren't there. So i called a person that worked there and he told me that they got sold out! I was REALLY mad! With the disappointed mood and went back home and went straight to my bed. In a few minutes, my mom entered the room. She was really mad and in a angry voice, she asked me where i went. I could not tell her that i went to the mall so i led and told her that i went to the shop around the corner to grab some medication because i couldn't find some in my room or yours. She then told me that she saw me in the mall at the store while she was getting my surprise birthday gift. To cheer her up, i asked her what she got me and guess what, they were the shoes. I was really happy but my mom was so mad. She then grounded me and gave me the shoes to wear to school the next day!

MAP POEM

"Will you marry me"?
the decision of my life that's got to be made in 5 seconds
Yes or No?
What to i do?
the weird and ugly feeling when Rasheed touches me
Do i forget Tariq, the father of my expected child?
Baba has has passed away so now i really have no family
Do i consider the thought about this house?
the tiny 2 floor house
floors that are half ripped
Do i forget my old lifestyle to adjust in the house?
I still love Tariq, so what do i do?

Let's think about this...
I love Tariq
and he's in Peshawar, should i run away from this house
but wait...we need a man to accompany us in fleeing away from this place
But i don't know any man other then Rasheed
Who do i flee away with?
I can't tell Rasheed about this
What do i do?
Yes or No?
Should i marry Rasheed?

why do we read?
"oh my god, i have to read 7 pages, ugh". Many people even hate the word "reading". many high school students ask why do we have to read? Well there are many benefits about reading. I know your thinking that reading cannot possibly have any benefits. However believe it or not, it's true! I think that a positive thing about reading is that it helps our reading skills improve. Don't you hear people asking about how they can do well in the critical reading section of the SAT. Well the best solution to that is...READ!!Although you hate it, it does work and help you get into a nice college. Do you get the relationship?Nice Critical Reading score on the SAT leads to a possibly nice score out of 1600 when you combine the reading and the math score which means that you will get into a nice college. Nowadays, colleges put a great amount of emphasis on you SAT scored. So next time you think about reading, consider the thought and read because you DO want a nice SAT score...Don't you?

My First Book
The book that I decided to read was called A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. The book so far is amazing!!! usually i read books because i have to pass my class but this book provides me with entertainment. So far i read about how a illegitimate daughter goes to her father's house after he breaks a promise about taking her to watch a movie in his theater. While she's there her mother at home passes away and so she is forced to live at her father's house. However, since she is a illegitimate daughter, the step mother does not really like her as much and so decides to get her married ASAP. So she gets married to a man named Rasheed and moves to Kabul with him. And then the rest of the story is about her coping in that neighborhood with her husband who she really didn't want to marry and couple of the Afgani rules which she did not follow when she was with her mother. I think my favorite part of the book was when a 15 year old girl named Laila was in love with a guy and started planning their future life with each other. I thought that that was really cute because it's like little kids thinking about their future!

How to become a good public speaker

Are you afraid of messing up in front of many people? Do you get stage frights? Calm down! Take a deep breath! Breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out.

Now, think about the purpose for which you are giving this speech. Remember that people are listening to your thoughts. They want to know about things you believe and the way you think. Don't worry about messing up. It's a human thing to do. We're all like that.

Look at the crowd. Think that you are talking to your friends. Friends are people who you share your thoughts with, without thinking about their reactions. So do that with the audience! Don't worry about the outcome. Just give it your best shot!
